Bountiful is the heart of south Davis County and the biggest of the northern communities we serve. The older streets below Main Street are mid-century homes on regular lots, well kept and straightforward to maintain; the further east you go, the more the land tilts and the bigger the houses get, with the bench properties toward Mueller Park Canyon running to substantial square footage and a lot of glass facing the valley.

That east-bench position is also why Bountiful sits above the worst of the inversion for part of the winter — but not all of it, and the fine grey film that settles on sills and shelves through January is a genuine part of the cleaning load here rather than a figure of speech.
